Membership Services

We issue all types of certificates in relation to trade such as verification of origin of export products, signatures and membership certificates. Member businesses are given official commendations and assistances with various events. In addition, we lend conference rooms, provide policy information, operate an archive and hold numerous councils.

Single PPM - Quality Certification

To promote win-win cooperation between big and small businesses, to secure quality competitiveness of parts & assembly industries, we select and reward exemplary companies in quality innovation, promote Single PPM, provide materials, arrange industrial tours for exemplary companies in Korea and abroad, provide quality training in on-line and off-line courses, bring out quality innovation experts, assist SME efforts to establish a quality innovation system and certify Single PPM.

Job Placement Center

The CCI runs a free job placement center and holds job fairs in order to stimulate the local economy through the proper supply of industrial workforce and employment security. The CCI also engages in activities that secure the labor-management-government harmony and cooperation.

Overseas Operation Support Center

In an effort to help the SMEs in our jurisdiction which have difficulties in export activities due to the shortage of skilled trade-related workforce, we provide support service system on business contact meeting, follow-up, translation and interpretation, etc. with professional personnel.

Public Relations Activities

The CCI strives to give a wide publicity of the opinions of member companies and the projects of CCI through the local media, and at the same time, publishes promotional materials and various research reports and disseminates them to members and local residents.

Support Center for Conventional Market Management

The CCI operates "Support Center for Conventional Market Management" to lay a foundation that will help the beleaguered conventional market stand on its own from the onslaught of mega shopping malls and discount stores.

Commerce and Industry Promotion Projects

We are helping member businesses to enhance their capacity to competently cope with the internal and external changes of the economic environment by promptly providing information on the government’s initiatives and policy direction and holding numerous lectures, seminars, training and education (CEOs and middle managers). We also offer customized education services such as the competitiveness strengthening education tour to promote the sound development of the local economy.

CEO Roundtable

The most popular service offered by CCI, CEO Roundtable sessions are featuring by timely discussions to meet the needs of member companies. Seosan CCI invites renowned speakers with professional expertise and holds the meetings at an excellent facility in a convenient location. By delivering current government policies and management information, the CEO Roundtable helps participating CEOs raise management capabilities, socialize with peers and exchange information. It is an excellent and worthwhile for CEOs who want to explore new business opportunities.

CEO Leisure Club

Senior members take the initiative to organize and lead small leisure club in our jurisdiction. Participants have been expressing satisfaction as they join a strong human network through leisure & hobby activities, including golf. CEOs enjoy business talk among members at these gatherings.

Business Training

We provide a core training program for back office staff. Courses include taxation, accounting, labor and environment management, and offer case studies from first-hand experience. Lecturers are leading authoritative experts in their respective areas. We offer a differentiated contents and training system, aiming at full customer satisfaction.

Local Economic Research Institute

As an affiliate of the Seosan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Local Economic Research Institute has contributed to the development of the local economy through joint studies between the academia and industry in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the local commerce and industry and boost the growth of the overall local economy. In association with the nation’s top private economic research center, Samsung Economic Research Institute, the Chamber currently runs the Seosan Economic Forum, at which monthly seminars are held under a timely and appropriate theme. The purpose of the forum is to seek further growth of not only the local economy but the national economy as well. The forum has taken root as a venue for actively exchanging differentiated advanced management techniques and updated information.

International Trade Promotion Projects

To promote international exchange on a private and national level, the CCI implements a wide array of international activities such as dispatching and receiving trade mission, signing a cooperation agreement with foreign chambers, taking part in overseas exhibition, offering seminar, and arranging overseas industrial tour for awarded employees, etc.

Meanwhile, in cooperation with ICC, we conduct a survey on business community to incorporate their opinions in the enactment process of regulation on international trade. The CCI also issues Certificate of Origin (C/O), and other trade-related documents.

Informatization Projects

Seosan CCI facilitates a policy for broad-based utilization of IT resources based on changes in the environment in public administration, economic activity and life, and advances in technology, moving with the times of the IT Revolution.

Accredited Vocational Qualifications

We administer the government-accredited vocational qualifications designed to evaluate a prospective employee’s basic skills in e-commerce, e-accounting, word processing, as well as secretary and stenography. These qualifications provide candidates with the skills to meet the job requirements.
